THE VIGILANTES will be playing the Stavanger PunkRockFestival in Norway, in April. Some of the other bands are; US Bombs, Rose Tattoo, Mad Sin, Backstreet Girls, The Coffinshakers, Spider Crew, Terror, Section 5, Haggis.

Stuff have acually been happening in the Vigilantes world. The Vigs have spent some time in the studio workin' on their next full-lenght album. More info on that will follow.
The Vigilantes are featured on the one and only "family and friends"- Ramones tributealbum "TODOS SOMOS RAMONES" together with legends like Johnny Thunders, Sylvain Sylvain (New York Dolls), Stiv Bators (Dead Boys), The Lurkers, Adicts, Alternative TV etc. 90% of the bands here have a direct bond to The Ramones, and the 2-CD Box set also includes rare recordings featuring Joey, Dee Dee and CJ Ramone. Artwork is done by Arturo Vega (Ramones own art-director). All songs are mastered by Ed Stasium (Legendary procucer) and the booklet includes more than 100 photos never before published. For various reasons it has been quite quiet around the Vigs for a while. However, the band is very much alive and have been working alot in the backgrounds... we'll get to that later on...
Anyway, a new gig is coming up: Club HEAT in Trollhättan (S) the 3rd of September.

NEW GIG COMING UP... The Vigilantes will play at Klubb Idiot, Satin in Örebro (S) on April the 1st, together with The Peacocks.

A short but successful tour is over. The tourdiary which didn´t work out like planned, is now finally available for everybody to enjoy! Go ahead and look at a selection of the pics and read the heavily cencored stories...

WM3 The Vigilantes have donated t-shirts and signed CD's for the West Memphis 3 fund raiser that is going to take place 2/23/05 at the Blue Note in Columbia MO.(U.S.). If you are not familiar with the case with the West Memphis Three go visit www.wm3.org for more information. Other supporters of the WM3 legal fund are Steve Earle, Metallica, Trey Parker, Henry Rollins, Winona Ryder, Eddie Vedder, Tom Waits and Neil Young. Donations for the raffle at Blue Note will be sent from Jello Biafra, The Vigilantes, Punk Globe Magazine, The Dead Sinatra's, W.T.D. plus many others.
